What, exactly, is Consumer Credit Resolution™ ?
Consumer Credit Resolution™ is a consumer advocacy program intended
to relieve pressure placed on individuals by their creditors. In 1977, the
Fair Debt
Collection Practices Act was passed to protect consumers from
unscrupulous collection activity sometimes practiced during the course of
collecting on debt. Consumer Credit Resolution™ holds your creditors
to the letter of the law regarding
this legislation. Here are just a few items addressed in the Fair Debt
Collection Practices Act of 1977 that you may not be aware of:
The Consumer Credit Resolution™ program first assures that all your
creditors are following the law, in terms of their communications with you,
then Consumer Credit Resolution™ negotiates reduced balances and
reduced payments with your creditor, based on your REALISTIC ability to pay. Back to TopWhy can't I just use the Fair Debt Collection Practices
Act on my own ?
You can most certainly research the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act and use it to your advantage. However, what makes Consumer Credit Resolution™ so appealing is that it enforces your rights for you 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We stand between you and your creditors. Consumer Credit Resolution™ provides the expertise you need to make the law work for you in the most effective manner. The time you would have to spend researching the legislation and contacting your creditors would amount to many hours each week. Consumer Credit Resolution™ acts as your advocate and reroutes all contact from your creditors to our processing center. The Consumer Credit Resolution™ processing center is staffed by highly trained negotiators who understand exactly what to do in all circumstances. Consumer Credit Resolution™ provides all the support you need, and a payment you can easily afford. The Consumer Credit Resolution™ program even manages all the payments to creditors for you. You just send one monthly payment to the Consumer Credit Resolution™ program, and all the individual creditor payments are made for you. Back to TopHow much will the Consumer Credit Resolution™ program cost me ?The first thing the Consumer Credit Resolution™ program does is assess your monthly cash flow to develop a payment plan that easily fits into your monthly budget. That payment is the only payment you make each month. For example, if your monthly cash flow assessment determines that you can only afford a monthly payment of $450, that is the only payment you make. The fees associated with Consumer Credit Resolution™ are included in that payment. The important point is that, the total of your payments, including fees, will generally be less than could be achieved through credit counseling or any other such service. On average, the program
is completed in approximately 24 to 36 months. This is the average
timeline for unsecured debt. Back to TopHow does Consumer Credit Resolution™ compare with the "free" services I see on TV ?The “free” services advertised on television are
subsidized by the credit industry itself. You see, nearly 4,000 people are filing bankruptcy every day, so the credit industry works with these
non-profit credit counseling organizations to help alleviate the losses
caused by so many bankruptcies. To pay the non-profit counselors you see on
TV, the credit industry makes what's called their "Fair Share Contribution,"
based on how much the counseling organization recovers for the creditors.
What this means is that these “non-profit” companies work for your
creditors, not for you. Consumer Credit Resolution™, on the other
hand, works only for you. That means your best interests are
constantly looked after. Here are several other major differences between
Consumer Credit Resolution™ and the “non-profit” programs:
Consumer Credit Resolution™ Monthly Payment = $450 Projected completion time frame = 29 months $450 x 29 months = $13,050
Non-Profit Programs Monthly Payment = $450 Projected completion time frame = 4 to 7 years (48 to 84 months) $450 x 48 = $21,600 $450 x 84 = $37,800 The question is how long do you want to be
making those monthly payments? Even if the other programs can match the
monthly program payment created by Consumer Credit Resolution™ you
would be making that payment for much longer. Finally, one of the reasons Consumer Credit Resolution™ works so much faster is because, with the other programs you’re still paying interest. But because Consumer Credit Resolution™ offers lump sum settlements to your creditors, outstanding interest payments are waived almost every time. Back to TopWhat do you mean by a lump sum settlement ?The monthly payment you send to Consumer Credit Resolution™ is built up in a secured account until it reaches the lump sum amount we've negotiated with a given creditor. For example, the $450 monthly payment mentioned earlier would build up to $1,350 after three months. If you owed a creditor, say $2,000, a settlement offer of $1,350 could be made to the creditor -- with your approval -- to "settle" that account. Creditors are anxious to be paid, and are willing to accept such an offer from an organization who will itself manage the payment process. You make your payments to Consumer Credit Resolution™ and Consumer Credit Resolution™ manages the process of building up enough money to make settlements to all of your creditors. You're no longer dealing directly with them, you're no longer bothered by them, and your debts are being paid off on an accelerated timeline.
